The organ is a Viscount Ouverture, specifically, the 'American Overture' version. It uses a technology called Physis Physical Modeling Technology, and recreates not only how a pipe organ sounds, but also how one acts through the use of complex algorithms. This technology is unique and different from previous sampled sound based organ technologies, which use recordings of pipes. Instead, with Viscount's Physis, the organ voicer can digitally build every voice of the organ to fit the needs of the room, and desired sound from the organist and music ministry. Physis Technology is also updateable and improves over time as Viscount's extensive R&D Department continues to create more complex algorithms. The updates are free, and as easy to install as accepting an email attachment.
